These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Aroma Atelier website and the booking of our services. By using our website or booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

Aroma Atelier is the trading name of Aroma Beauty Ltd. (company number 12345678), registered in England & Wales. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Trading address: 47a Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 0AT, Essex, CM2 0HY.

2. Booking and Appointments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once you receive a confirmation communication from us.
  • We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in a reduced treatment time to avoid disrupting subsequent bookings.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to treat this as a no-show.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Notice period: cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service price will be charged. This represents a genuine pre-estimate of our loss.
  • No-shows: if you do not attend without prior notice, the full service price will be charged.
  • Deposits: where a deposit is required (e.g. Bridal Atelier), deposits are non-refundable but will be applied to the cost of your service. Deposits are typically 20% of the total service price.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • Where prices are stated as “from”, this represents the minimum price. Final pricing is confirmed during your consultation and depends on hair length, density, and service complexity.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the original price.
  • Payment is due on the day of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards.

5. Our Services

All services are carried out by qualified professionals. During your consultation, we will discuss your requirements and provide honest advice about what is achievable. We reserve the right to refuse or modify a service if we believe it could damage your hair or skin.

6. Health and Safety

Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment. A patch test may be required 48 hours before certain colour services. We reserve the right to refuse service if a required patch test has not been completed.

7. Liability

We take every care to provide services to the highest standard. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

8. Your Consumer Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please raise this during or immediately after your appointment so we can attempt to resolve the issue. You may also contact us within 14 days of your appointment.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR.

10. Complaints

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
